Dr. Jacek Orzeł is a manager, economist, and computer scientist. He has several years of managerial experience. He obtained his doctorate in the field of economics from the Warsaw School of Economics. He completed his doctoral studies at the Institute for Systems Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences, and his higher education at the Faculty of Mathematics, Computer Science, and Mechanics at the University of Warsaw.
He also holds an MBA degree and has completed the Top Public Executive program at the National School of Public Administration and IESE University of Navarre. He is an expert in personal data protection for ENISA and has expertise in risk management and security, including cybersecurity. Dr. Jacek Orzeł has professional experience in both the commercial and public sectors.
He has held positions such as Director of the Security Policy Office at the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy, as well as managerial roles in the Ministry of Development, Ministry of Investment and Development, Central Statistical Office, National Bank of Poland (NBP), and the Polish Rehabilitation Fund (PFRON). In the private sector, he gained experience, among other things, by working at INVEST-BANK S.A.
Dr. Jacek Orzeł has actively participated in numerous conferences, seminars, and training programs both in Poland and abroad. He maintains current professional contacts with the worlds of academia and business.
